Steam generator equipped ex New Haven GP-9 on it's way through what would eventually become "Cove" interlocking. I am the proud owner of the "Hancock air whistle" (a.k.a. air horn)  that can be seen just ahead of the locomotives' cab.
These locomotives were "nothing flashy", but they got the job done.
